Bair is named the 2023 Cesar Pelli Distinguished Lecturer at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign School of Architecture. In addition to teaching a design studio in the Fall of 2023 she will present BairBalliet work as part of the lecture series on October 30th at 6pm at the University of Illinois Plym Auditorium.

Balliet is a part of the book, Sessions Volume 2. The publication is edited by Ramiro Diaz-Granados, in conversation with SCI-Arc Design Faculty Kristy Balliet, Mira Henry, M. Casey Rehm, and Maxi Spina, including texts by Hernan Diaz Alonso and Joe Day. There was a book launch on November 1st.
BairBalliet participates in the “Architectural Beast” exhibition at the Frac Center in Orleans, France as part of the Second edition of the Biennale d'Architecture d'Orléans. The exhibition is open October 11th, 2019 to January 19th 2020.
Balliet participated in an XX | LA podcast hosted by Audrey Sato. The podcast aired October 6th.
BairBalliet - Graphic, Line, Object (G.L.O.) will be a part of the the exhibit, entitled Drawing Attention. This exhibit gathers innovative and exemplary drawings from architects around the world, co-curated by Jeremy Ficca(CMU), Grace La (GSD) and Amy Kulper (RISD). The drawings will be shown at the Roca Gallery London, designed by Zaha Hadid, from September 17, 2019 to January 11, 2020, and the opening week coincides with this year’s London Design Festival.
BairBalliet - No Middle Mid Rise was part of the group show Translating the Building Exhibition in Denver Colorado. The show was hosted in the McNicols Building and curated by Aaron Mulligan. Open August 2nd - August 25th.
BairBalliet is the recipient of the 2019-2020 Association for Women in Architecture Foundation Fellowship. The award is given annually to one firm and provides the opportunity to facilitate research, study, writing and other forms of continued contribution to the profession.
